OneCall Update
Winter is here! We would like to take this opportunity to remind our families that DCPS will once again be using the OneCall Now telephone messaging system to keep you informed about school delays and/or closings based on inclement weather. DCPS families may add additional telephone numbers to our OneCall Now database by clicking this link: http://www.dcps.org/Parents.aspx
Infinite Campus Parent Portal
The Daviess County Board of Education has sent out letters to our parents this week to inform you of our new web based “parent portal”. The portal will allow you to see your child’s attendance records via a secure website. If you have a 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader at Deer Park, you will also be able to see your child’s grades throughout the year. The grades will be updated within one week of your child’s assignment or test being turned in.
Deer Park will have a drop in help session in our computer lab for anyone who would like some more information or help on how to navigate the new website. We would like to invite everyone to drop by the school on Tuesday, February 24, 2009 from 5:00 to 7:00 at your convince to explore this new and exciting tool available to your family. You can visit the new portal site by clicking on the image below or by going to http://portal.dcps.org
