Volunteers

Volunteers are always needed to help at Audubon.  All volunteers are required to be fingerprinted in the office for the safety of the students. 

We need help in the following areas:

Head homeroom coordinators Cafeteria monitor
Accelerated Reader committee Library
End of year pictures Send items for parties
Bookfair Clerical assistant for teacher
Outdoor classroom Office help
PTO events Fieldtrips
Work with students during the school day
Work with students on their homework before or after school

Please make plans to participate in the rewarding endeavor as a volunteer.  Please notify your child’s teacher if you would like more information.

 

School-Based Decision Making Council (SBDM)

The Council is comprised of the principal, three teacher representatives, and two parent representatives.  The 2009-2010 SBDM Council members are:

bullet Bonita French, Parent
 

The Council meets at 3:00 pm on the second Monday of each month (except October when it will be the third Monday).   The minutes for this meeting are posted to this website when available. 

 

Parent/Teacher Organization (PTO)

The PTO meets at 4:30 on Wednesday following the SBDM meeting of each month (subject to change).  Everyone is invited to attend the monthly meetings.  The PTO officers for 2008-2009 are:
